Thrown away the key

Image result for fantasy art

On the edge of atrophy,

rampant revolution with the sea breeze,

brewing in the air,

the mist, beware.

We no longer have a care,

for the now frozen lakes far off in another galaxy,

the little people are free

weeds surround the beautiful sweet flowers that breathe,

life into the ether as between the lines we read,

grow, uproot, resist, feed,

through perpetual death and rebirth on the shores of grand rising we bleed,

transformative, awakening from the haze,

fires blaze,

as seasons change

earthy, watery an elemental stage,

passage through the malaise,

wounds cut open and the memories fade,

escape,

it’s too late and we can no longer wait,

sitting ducks and enslaved,

You may have thrown away the key,

but this you did not foresee.

A world in crisis

Image result for light

These smoky grey skies ridden with dust and disease,

overshadow a land where people cry and their pleas,

go unheard by the selfish, self-serving societies,

it seems they have created a crisis,

plotting and deceiving, twisting and turning, a kind of mockery,

served up like sweet pie, from those that make a joke out of lives,

amidst the uncertainty, upheaval, up in the air, we silently grieve,

the loss of sanity, the safe bubble, brewing storms ignored,

shattered illusions, the reality comes forth.

their intentions are a haze, our hearts and minds race, on fire, in a blaze.

Through the image of separation, division, instilled to create a mind game,

manipulation of our emotional state,

in order to dissipate,

our innate strength, breed fear, build strong convictions are you left or right? black or white?…

wrong or right?

unshakable so that we are guarded on defence, letting no one near,

refusing to hear,

anything other,

than what we led to believe,

the lies that they feed,

The new earth is being born,

whether we are aware of it or not, these leaves have turned,

nothing will be the same,

and I cannot promise that we will be safe,

in the moments to come,

just hold on,

we cannot lose,

if we choose to remember the truth,

over what they portray on the news,

refuse, to settle and accept this excuse,

of a world view,

I know…yet some how I don’t know

images-49

I know, yet somehow I don’t know

I knew, yet somehow I was unaware

We stand amidst a blizzard of snow…letting the winds of change blow

Without a single care the blizzard envelopes us…swirling around chaotically

…yet still It’s movement exudes a misty, gorgeous…dazzling, flare…

Feet firmly on the ground staring up at the sky

Simply listening to the silence…the soundless chaos descending from way up high

This is it

…quietly observing the pieces falling together bit by bit

Eventually it ceases.

Everything settles, no more snow is falling

…and we’re left with an retrospective, introspective, all-consuming knowing.

Love,

Faatima
